Scene One: 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM:

During a funeral for a member of the Marquois Family, an impostor posing as the new Cardinal, opened fire on the crowd, attempting to kill Hector Enel. Through a well coordinated and combined effort, he was taken out. A fierce debate between Cypher and William left Cypher questioning his very existence.

-A funeral was held for [[The Marqouis Family]] in a church within Tier II. Conducting the proceedings was [[William Farcrow]], a well known undertaker. The rites were conducted by none other than [[Aurora TruthShield]], paladin of [[The Church of the Crossed Heart]]. With Aurora stood the [[The Technocult|Technocult Priest]], [[Cyper Haxtes]]. A friend of the deceased, [[Hector Enel]], one of the richest men in all of Solace was also present.
-The head of The Marquois Family, [[Francois Marquois]], approached Hector Enel, threatening him that he would be sorry if he did not drop all outstanding loans. Determined to enact revenge on those who used to own him as a slave, Hector took great pleasure in provoking Francois.
-The service moved indoors, where a new face took over the proceedings. Initially, Aurora presumed this must be the newly appointed Cardinal. Hector sat at the front row in an attempt to further enrage the Marquois, but was tactfully sent to the back by William.
-The Cardinal's behaviour was immediately suspicious; his attention was focused intently on Hector throughout. Cypher noticed his somewhat unusual posture was likely a result of cybernetics built into his bones, a type of cybernetics only utilised by elite assassins. Aurora was told to leave by the Cardinal, and she promptly exited, only to go to the top of the church.
-As the family of the deceased gave their speeches, William began a heated argument with the Cardinal concerning whose authority the funeral was. What started as a quiet debate escalated, and soon disrupted the service. A door opened, and the real Cardinal walked in, confused as to who this impostor was. Seconds after, the machine voices in Cypher's head compelled him to "get out, get everyone out". Cypher began screaming across the Church, and shortly after this Aurora caused a loud distraction.
-All hell broke loose as the crowd ran for their lives. The False Cardinal's hands dropped off revealing automatic machine-guns concealed within his arms. He opened fire at Hector, spraying indiscriminately into the crowd. Aurora threw herself off the balcony and down into the main Church, activating her shields and blocking the False Cardinal's bullets. At this moment Hector dived for cover, switching clothes with a corpse next to him, allowing the False Cardinal to lose track of his target.
